BESAD – A Community Tzedakah Fund in Israel

We are honored to receive the support of the Rishon Lezion and Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar, who emphasizes the importance of BESAD’s work in helping families in need.
💬 “The BESAD organization fulfills a vital mission by providing concrete support to those who need it. I encourage everyone to participate in this great mitzvah of tzedakah, helping and relieving those going through difficult times.”
Every action counts in supporting those who rely on us.
A committed organization since 2016
Since 2016, BESAD has established itself as a key reference for community members in Israel facing financial, social, or administrative difficulties.
In Israel, many individuals and families often lack sufficient support. Whether it’s economic hardship, challenging integration, or simply needing guidance, more and more people find themselves without appropriate solutions.
Existing aid structures do not always meet the specific needs of those in the community, leaving many overwhelmed by daily challenges.
Economy
rising cost of living, growing financial insecurity.
Integration
complex administrative procedures, language barriers.
Health
limited access to care, lack of coverage for certain needs.
This is why BESAD was created—to respond to these challenges by providing immediate and practical support to those who need it.
A structured and rigorous organization
Reliable and recognized
BESAD is registered under identification number W751234181, ensuring transparent and effective management of funds and aid.
Strict supervision of donations
All donations are supervised by Attorney Shlomi Levy, guaranteeing effective and rigorous management of resources to best support beneficiaries.
A team of professionals and volunteers
BESAD operates thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and the expertise of Attorney Shlomi Levy, guided by Dayan Rabbi Yossef Shneor in its activities.
